- Stool increased frequency and reduced consistency: Stools retain their natural moisture throughout the colon, resulting in a measurable change on the faecal frequency and consistency scale.
- Increased frequency of bowel movements and gastric motility: Partially hydrolysed protein accelerates gastric emptying due to the smaller size of its peptides, stimulating the gastrocolic reflex more efficiently, increasing the number of weekly bowel movements and combating the build-up of faeces in the colon.
- Overall digestive comfort: Reduction in pain, dyschezia and crying: Dyschezia in infants (excessive straining accompanied by crying before passing stools) tends to be reduced with softer stools. This results in a drastic reduction in the number of crying episodes reported by parents.
Better digestive tolerance
- Contains 45% palmitic acid in ß-position: reduces the formation of calcium soaps that causes constipation. Increases the total absorption of fat, calcium and magnesium favouring bone mineralisation.
- Enriched with inulin, long chain prebiotic fructooligosaccharide, that replicates the physiological effects of oligosaccharides in breast milk, creating a prebiotic effect in the gastrointestinal tract, and acts as soluble fiber, decreasing stools consistence, regulating gastrointestinal transit and favouring their elimination.

Blemil plus 3 Extra is a follow-on formula for young children from 1 to 3 years. It is particularly suitable for:
- Infants and young children prone to constipation and/or with constipation problems due to:
- Transition from breastfeeding to infant formulas.
- Complementary feeding introduction.
- Diet with a low fibre content.
- Infants prone to constipation and/or with constipation combined with colic symptoms and meteorism.
Breast milk is the best food for babies during the first months of life. When breastfeeding is not possible, health professionals must recommend the most appropriate alternative.
